The movie stardust is about love, has adventures, and romance. The movie stardust had great actors like Charlie Cox, who played Tristan and Claire Danes who played Yvaine, Robert De Niro as Captain Shakespeare, and Mark Strong as Septimus. The two main characters of the movie are Yvraine and Tristan.
The movie began with a man who fell in love with a slave. Her name was Una. They both fallin love and have a baby .She named him Tristan. She soon delivered the baby to his father because she wanted her son to have a better life and no become a slave like her. This made her sad of course but it was her only option. She only wanted her son to live freely and to be happy.enen though this made her feel bad it also made her feel secure that his son would be on good hands.
This moves the story foward. the father takes care and looks after triston. They both live together. Triston grows and soon he falls in love with a girl named victoria. He loved her so much but she didn't because he was poor.Victoria wanted someone who was rich enough to buy her everything she wants. She always used him and made fun of him. Tristan didn’t care because he really liked her. The next day they both have a picnic and talk. This is when she tells him she is going to get married. Tristan gets upset and tells her that for her hand in marriage he would do about anything. He tells her he would cross the seas and the whole world when suddenly a shooting star passes by the sky. She soon tells him she won’t get married if only he brings back that star to her. She gives him a week.
This makes Tristan happy and takes a big journey. This is when he plans to cross the wall between the magical world and the normal world to catch the star. In order for him to pass the wall he needs to pass the guard. Eventually he does pass the wall. He searches the star until then he found it. It turns out the star is a beautiful girl. Tristan soon uses this magical chain that would not let her go. He ties her to him and off they go. Tristan and yvraine meet and talk to each other not knowing that they will both fall in love. They go through a journey with lots of traps and evil people who want to take the star away. There where witches who also wanted the star. The only reason why they wanted her is to become younger and powerful. The witches and septimus were obstacles between there happy ending. This cause lots of adventure and love. Tristan soon falls in love with her as yvraine too. they soon realize they were meant to be. The rising action about this movie is when yvraine thinks triston only used her for victoria after all that romance and love they said they felt for each other. yvraine decides to kills herself by crossing the wall. triston soon finds out and goes out to save her. The mean evil wiches go after her but to kill her. The witches took yvraine and tristans mom away. They wanted to get the star,cut her heart open and become younger and powerful with the stars heart. when they were really close of cutting her hart out tristan entered to save her. He fighted against the witches. It was funny because he was nervous and scared after what he saw ,the wiches broke evey bone on septimus.Triston saves yvraine and so does she by not letting him be with the wrong girl.They soon live happily ever after,and have kids.
I really think this movie was great. It was funny, a bit scary and interesting. I liked it when yvraine always shined when Tristan was around or really close to her. My other favorite part was when he realized Victoria wasn’t worth it. Also when Captain Shakespeare danced and tried on woman’s clothes. The movie was great this is why I think other people should watch it too!
